A Cookie's Music Life

Well, if somehow, you came to chance upon this undeclared blog by clicking on my profile, please do pop a message at the tag board? Wonder who actually bothers to click on my profile. Hahaha (Bored. It's the holidays). Well, this is more of my music journal than a blog. As to why it's undeclared, you could ask me.

Complete the keys of E and Eb.

One thing that I wanted to thank the Lord was a lesson learnt. Give and it will come back to you, good measure... etc. I helped a friend before His M&D audition (sigh, he didn't get in, since he's new to chords). When you have certain arrangements/improvisations that took time to develop, one may be hesitant to teach it, lest it's easily learnt by others, plus it could be your trademark/pattern. But at that point of time, I felt something within me saying "give and it will come back to you, good measure...". And also, I had this feeling that it could well be a test, to see if I was truly a selfish brat. I was struggling. But being assured by that initial prompting of "give and it will come back to you", I decided to teach him whatever I tried to hold back.

Somehow, within a day, playing in the key of E was smooth. If it were 3 days ago, the percentage completion of the key of E would be 30%. I'm serious. This is no joke. I'm shocked at it myself. Hee, the Lord's generous =)
